  • Tandem Healing Body Work is a collaborative, holistic wellness service offered jointly by a licensed massage therapist and a Reiki energy worker. Each session integrates therapeutic massage and Reiki energy work to support physical relaxation, emotional balance, and energetic harmony.

  • Both practitioners work together during your session, either simultaneously or in a coordinated flow, depending on your needs and the session length. Massage addresses physical tension and muscular health, while Reiki supports energetic balance and deep relaxation.

  • Healing Body Work is available in the following session durations:

    • 30 minutes – A focused reset, ideal for stress relief or targeted tension.

    • 60 minutes – A balanced full-body experience integrating massage and Reiki.

    • 90 minutes – A deeper therapeutic and energetic session allowing for more detailed work.

    • 120 minutes – An immersive, restorative experience supporting profound relaxation and healing.

  • Your session begins with a brief check-in to discuss your intentions, concerns, and comfort level. During the session, you may experience physical release, deep calm, warmth, emotional shifts, or a sense of grounding. Each session is tailored to you and may feel different each time.

  • Reiki is a gentle energy healing practice that works with the body’s natural energy system. When combined with massage, Reiki can enhance relaxation, support emotional release, and deepen the body’s ability to receive the physical benefits of touch.

  • No belief is required. Reiki works whether or not you have prior experience or understanding of energy work. Many clients simply experience it as deeply calming and restorative.

  • You will undress to your comfort level for the massage portion of the session and will be professionally draped at all times. Reiki is provided with light touch or hands hovering above the body, depending on your preference.

  • Yes. Tandem Healing Body Work is generally safe for most people. Please inform us of any injuries, medical conditions, pregnancy, or concerns before your session so we can customize the service appropriately.

  • This service may help with:

    • Stress and anxiety

    • Muscle tension and chronic pain

    • Fatigue and burnout

    • Emotional overwhelm

    • Difficulty relaxing or sleeping

    Tandem Healing Body Work is a complementary wellness service and is not a substitute for medical treatment.

  • Frequency varies by individual. Some clients benefit from weekly or bi-weekly sessions, while others book monthly or as needed for relaxation and maintenance.

  • Sessions can be booked through contacting us directly. If you’re unsure which session length is best for you, we’re happy to help guide your choice.

  • Your body and energy system continue to integrate the work after your session. Following these guidelines can help you receive the full benefits of your Tandem Healing Body Work experience.

    ✅ DO

    Hydrate well:
    Drink plenty of water for the rest of the day to support circulation, muscle recovery, and energetic flow.

    Rest and move gently:
    Allow yourself time to rest or engage in light movement such as walking, stretching, or yoga.

    Notice how you feel;
    Pay attention to physical sensations, emotions, or insights that arise. Journaling can be helpful.

    Eat nourishing foods:
    Choose light, wholesome meals that support grounding and digestion.

    Breathe and slow down:
    Take a few moments throughout the day to breathe deeply and stay present in your body.

    Honor emotional shifts:
    Emotional release or heightened awareness can be a normal part of integration. Allow feelings to move without judgment.

    Avoid intense physical activity:
    Skip heavy workouts, strenuous labor, or high-impact exercise for at least 24 hours if possible.

    Avoid alcohol or recreational substances:
    These can interfere with hydration, muscle recovery, and energetic integration.

    Don’t rush back into stress:
    Try to avoid immediately returning to demanding or emotionally charged situations.

    Avoid over-scheduling:
    Give yourself space rather than filling the rest of your day with obligations.

    Don’t ignore discomfort:
    Mild soreness or fatigue can be normal. If discomfort feels unusual or concerning, reach out to your practitioner.

  • Post-session experiences vary and may include:

    • Deep relaxation or sleepiness

    • Increased energy or clarity

    • Mild muscle soreness

    • Emotional release

    • Heightened awareness or calm

    These responses are typically temporary and part of the body’s natural rebalancing process..

  • We require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations will be subject to 50% of the service price.
